Refund Policy

At PhotoJournal World, your satisfaction is important to us. Due to the custom nature of our products, we have a specific policy regarding refunds, replacements, and order issues. Please read below to understand your rights and our process.

1. Custom and Personalized Products

Because each item is made-to-order and personalized to your specifications (e.g., photo books, custom frames, printed gifts), we do not offer refunds or accept returns for reasons such as:

  • Change of mind.
  • Incorrect selection (size, layout, photo, etc.) made by the customer.
  • Low-resolution images or design flaws in customer-submitted content.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in ensuring your product is crafted and delivered in excellent condition. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, please follow these steps:

You must:

  • Email us at support@photojournalworld.com within 7 days of receiving the order.
  • Include your order number, a brief description of the issue and clear photos of:
    • The product(s) received.
    • The packaging.
    • Any visible damage or misprint.

Resolution:

Upon review, if we determine the issue is due to a manufacturing or fulfillment error, we will:

  • Offer a free replacement of the affected item or
  • Provide a full or partial refund, based on the issue

We may ask you to return the item or dispose of it depending on the situation.

3. Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled within 1 hour of placement, provided production has not started. After that time, your order is considered confirmed and in process, and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

4. Shipping Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or unforeseen circumstances. However, if a package is significantly delayed or lost, we will work with you to file a claim or offer a solution.

5. Refunds (If Approved)

Once a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed back to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the transaction to reflect in your account.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or replacements will not be issued in the following cases:

  • User error (e.g., spelling mistakes, wrong images uploaded).
  • Delays due to incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
